[Link] | Once again, I long for a home Net connection. Because I do not yet have one (and because I have not taken the excellent advice of writing entries at home and saving them to disk to post later), this will be a quick, boring entry.
My Halloween party was a blast. For those unfortunates who didn't know beforehand, let me tell you that I "dressed" as Lady Godiva. My brother-in-law, on hearing what my costume would be, commented, "Well, she has the hair, but does she have the horse?" This is why we love him. I did actually wear a flesh-colored unitard with long sleeves and long legs, so no, I wasn't as natural as my predecessor.

Other costumes of interest included icarus_suraki's Stephen Dedalus (sp?) and my friend Rachel's Peeping Tom (complete with window and curtain to pull aside).
I thought that I would be over having been cloistered at a women's college for four years, but apparently I am not. Today I took the record for a deposition of a male witness and two male attorneys. I was amazed by how broad their shoulders were. Admittedly, it was a very boring four plus hours, and I had little else to occupy my mind. But still. Why would anyone need shoulders that broad or that much mass in the upper body? Wouldn't he feel top-heavy?
Well, that's all the time I have, folks. I need to go home and finish assembling the shelf best friend Marjorie and family got me for Christmas (yes, early) so that I can at last organize my stuff in my room before heading out this weekend to Texas for the Texas Renaissance Festival with my favorite roommie!!!!
